Your hours can be registered directly from a Mobile phone, PDA or Computer. eMPATIX Timekeeping also includes travel invoices and wage computation based on registered hours.Create projects and activities associated with a customer, allow employees to log work hours for activities via web or Mobile phone, and invoice projects.The quality of invoices will be improved when employees register hours, expenses and travel invoices themselves; customers will be able to follow the number of hours registered by logging on to the extranet, and they will also be able to see how many hours have been registered since the previous invoice.
Hours that are registered to a person can be used for payment of wages based on hourly rates, and reimbursement for outlaid expenses and travel expenses are included.
The Timekeeping module is working in close relation with: Customer, Project, Accounting, Payroll, Travel expenses, Product, Request, Production, ERP and Invoice.
- One can retrieve deviation reports in order to see how time spent compares to the estimate, using a color code: green = ok, yellow = less than 10 % of the time remaining or short time remaining until delivery deadline, red = Too many hours spent or the project has missed deadline.
- There are reports per project that provide an overview of the amount that has been invoiced so far in the project, the amount that has not been invoiced, the contribution margin and average rate per work hour. This provides the project manager with a good overview of the financial status of the project.
- Employees are given control over their own invoicing when they log hours per day, since the previous payment date, or over a longer period of time.
- You are notified when work being done does not correspond with wages allocated or when the level of invoicing is lower than agreed per employee.
- The administrator can access income and pay per day for each employee, level of invoicing, profit, etc.
- Real time notification concerning registration of work hours via RSS to both the customers and employees. Can be integrated into a corporate dashboard, for example, your mobile phone.
All persons who need to register hours and who invoice their customers for accrued hours or who pay their employees an hourly wage.
It is possible to subscribe to a service showing the most recently logged hours via RSS on Intranet (all hours) or Extranet (hours charged to the customer).
Deviation report on hours expended vs. estimate for the activity, using a traffic light model:
Green = everything ok
Yellow = hours will soon be used up and deadline is approaching
Red = too many hours spent and delivery missed deadline.
If the extranet module is used, customers will also have access to viewing all hours that are registered, all invoices and what future invoices may contain.
